The Finlayson Muni in a new building right next to the Fire Hall in Finlayson Minnesota has a kitchen and offers new items and specials seasonally, their Friday fish specials during lent were great! Recently they have added salads and wraps to the menu. Their menu is ala cart and provide generous portions.
The food product has changed slightly since first opening and I am a bit of a potato snob, that being said I much prefer the original fries they had to the new ones, that's just me. The originals were a fatter battered type french fry as opposed to the new skinny fry similar to McDonalds in appearance. The prices have only raised slightly in the last year and are still a good deal with good size portions.
The offsale is well stocked and included a beer cave and some odds and ends at the counter you may want to pick up on your way out the door.
The muni and the whole town take their holidays and seasons seriously with special events, costumes, and drink specials. I highly recommend their bloody mary with the pickle vodka.
